Need to drop a PDF page into a presentation, send it via chat, or post it on social media? With marge-PDF you convert PDF to JPG right in your browser β no signup, no upload to any server.
That's it. No signup, no email, no "choose your plan".
Most online converters upload your PDF to their servers. Even if they promise to "delete after an hour", during that hour your document sits on someone else's computer. If it's an invoice, contract, or passport β the risk is obvious.
marge-PDF works differently:
Drop a PDF page into a PowerPoint, Keynote, or Google Slides slide. JPG inserts more easily and displays more reliably than an embedded PDF.
WhatsApp, Telegram, and Instagram don't support PDFs in posts. JPG sends in any messenger and opens without extra apps.
Some printers and photo printing software handle JPG better than PDF. Also handy for pulling one page out as an image for a website or blog.
High. We render PDF at Γ2 scale (about 144 DPI) and save as JPG with 92% quality. Enough for A4 printing and web publishing.
If the PDF has more than one page, each becomes a separate JPG, and all are automatically packed into a ZIP archive. Unzip it β you'll see files like `page-001.jpg`, `page-002.jpg`, and so on.
Currently all pages are converted. If you need select pages, first use the "Extract Pages" tool to get a PDF with just those pages, then convert.
Yes, we don't touch the source PDF β we only read it and create new JPG files. The original stays on your device unchanged.
Yes. Open in Safari (iPhone) or Chrome (Android). For PDFs larger than ~20 pages, a computer is recommended.
